My family has been going on Cape Ann rides since my parents honeymoon, which started in Gloucester. I can remember taking day trips to Cape Ann my whole lifetime. We have explored every possible nook and cranny of the northshore, yet none of us get sick of escaping to the coast. So, why not celebrate my Dad's and my own birthday with a little family time and seafood. I think I've driven by Hammond Castle a thousand times and maybe visited once. For Chuck and the kids, it'll be a first. So, before eats, we walked around the grounds of Hammond Castle. My main birthday request is cooperative smiles. The kids were most cooperative, the seniors, the least.
